seems i need better planning in terms of background and picture.

decided to take out my big black hat by Ted Baker that hasn't been worn yet. Was inspired by a picture of a model at the Big Ben clock. unable to get a decent photo of the clock itself, i tried to improvise.

You got to give me an A for effort. seems like photoshop needs a bit of figuring out

bling bag

i like this bag but it's a gift for a family friend so it would be really wrong to use it first and give it away after. so the best i can do is to use it in a photo. i love how it's bling-ed and gives the outfit a bit of a rock look

start of a long weekend

started my friday by accidentally removing all the songs on my ipod before i had to go to holland village. But at least i can brighten the gloomy rainy day with a bright winnie-the-pooh umbrella ! managed to catch a picture before being late for my appointment with mom.

A fun bright outfit in the day can be easily turned into a chic look for a night out on the town !
See how i change my hairstyle to something more sleek and classy for a night out then layer the pink dress with a black skirt and a chunky black necklace in the style of Lady Gaga. Finish the look by holding my handbag as a clutch.

Inspiration, motivation, and no more constipation

Finally feel alive again after 5 months 
Thanks to the people around me who have helped me feel motivated and inspired with their love and commitment to living everyday to the fullest. 
We seem to take for granted the times when we enjoy ourselves so much that the days pass by so quickly but when the tables turn and we feel stuck in a rut, each hour passes so slowly. Why do we remember unbearable, depressing times more strongly than the good times. 
I want to be more appreciative and grateful for each day I live beautifully inspired and filled with happiness.    

Went to canele's  today for cakes sorry to say the chocolate ones looked better than the taste but i like my selections of rose macaroon with strawberry and rose jam and strawberry shortcake. 

casual chillin day in JB City Square

Went to JB with sis and mattin today :) my first time travelling there alone (meaning without my lovely parents). the journey was surprisingly fast and we cleared customs like a breeze. Discovered a new bus (CW1) to take from Kranji MRT. it only costs 80cents to have a comfortable ride with practically the whole bus to ourselves. no squeezing and jostling on 160/170

managed to buy cheap things there like a new lipstick case for mom at only 6.90 Ringgit and old issues of ViVi magazines at 6Ringgit. lots of new inspiration from the photos inside.

spent a bomb on new makeup

2nd floor of Chevron House while waiting for Mom to finish work. I LOVE this new brown leather bag ! looks elegant and classy and i really like the buckle. Favourite bag for today- which is why i carried it out.
Got slightly carried away buying makeup today (although i spent within my budget).
Managed to get a 112 eye shadow palette for $25.90 !! really pleased with my good bargain :)
I must commend the staff at SASA for introducing me new products. I was sucked in by their knowledge and picked up new foundation and mascara along with a few makeup brushes, shimmer eye shadow and cosmetic glitter. Small items have a magical way of adding up so the bill suddenly balloons when they calculate the total cost at the cashier.

Can't wait to play with my new 'toys' !!

wii has a new home

went to daniel's house to play wii today. his custom-built chair really is very comfortable and his boxes are really cool :)

had mos burger for lunch. they now have a smart new way of ordering where you choose the burger for a price and add on the set for a set price. chua chu kang really is very far away. went to Lot 1 and bought 2 black wii controllers yay they look really nice and the games we chose were super fun !

spent the day at sentosa today. so shag from running around picking up the frisbee and playing volleyball (in a small circle).

saw super cute bunnies today at an exhibition at harbourfront shopping centre. i realised it was related to chinese new year celebrations because it is the year of the rabbit.

Shuyan: I am already here. Have been sitting here for half an hour

alot of people seem to like my new hairstyle. fresh seems to be the word. i was looking through my pictures on facebook while downloading the nice ones onto my ipad and i realised i've had the same hairstyle since year 2 Uni. really needed the change.

next step : lighten hair color !
