Wednesdays 'who would you date' : David Choi or the Annoying Orange ??

Both are Youtube sensations, storming through your computer screens and garnering millions of views from people around the world. Both are similiar in that they're really good at what they do, But when it boils down to preferences, would you date David Choi or the Annoying Orange?


David Choi
Mesmerizing girls with his talent in singing, playing instruments and writing beautiful lyrics, I think any girl's heart would melt if he sang to her. His songs 'Won't Even Start' and 'That Girl' make him seem like such a down-to-earth, sentimental romantic. Yet he has other original creations like 'I fart like everyone' and 'It's rad to pick your nose' showing his humorous and quirky side.

A melody is like a woman in a bar that you are instantly attracted to – the part that hooks you. The lyrics are what make you fall in love with that person. That sort of stuck with me throughout the years

I'm sure it would be very interesting to get to know him at a deep level; to hear his experiences, what he's learnt and what really goes through his mind. I admire that he's decided not to sign with a label and instead pursue his own creative directions.








Annoying Orange

However much annoying, Orange's puns are really quite clever which leads me to think that Orange has a pretty advanced brain for a fruit that allows him to think on his feet/round orange bottom. Being annoying is a skill that is not easily learnt. He successfully makes me laugh and his signature line starting with 'Hey ___' (fill the blank with fruit) can really get stuck in my head.

A web series of talking fruit in a kitchen. The Annoying Orange heckles fruits, vegetables and other nearby objects with puns and jokes. Even his best friend Pear finds him annoying. In a recent episode, he is taken to 'Food Court' for being sooo annoying. An article in Yahoo Finance estimate of how much Youtube celebrities earn from banner ads on their channel places The Annoying Orange places second on the list of top earners between July 2009-2010.

FYI: there isn't really a talking orange. Mastermind Dane Boedigheimer superimposes his eyes and mouth to play Orange.


VERDICT: Money does not equal happiness. Shy romantic singer/song writer FTW !

I'm all for pursuing dreams and goals and I wouldn't mind David Choi testing his new song ideas on me. Sorry Annoying Orange :( I think you're really cute and funny but you might just throw lame pun jokes at me everytime we're together and I would eventually get pissed. Your yellow teeth don't make kissing you seem attractive anyway oops.
