I don't think Valentines should be just one day. St Valentines shouldn't be so lazy. It should last an entire week. Then everyone could pick a day in the week they are free to celebrate. Why stress yourself to finish work early on that particular day in order to make it in time for reservations. Maybe Wednesdays suit you better. Who's to tell you when you can or cannot celebrate your love for each other.
I never understood why a guy would ask a girl out on Valentines Day. It's like you're creating some sort of expectation that things between the 2 would move to the next level. Its too complicated. But relationships are complicated anyway.
You never know what a guy is thinking, and whether he means what he says. I admit I'm guilty of slipping in a lie or two just to make the situation less uncomfortable. Like maybe I'm alone with a guy in his house and he asks me an awkward question while waiting for our friends to arrive. I'm gonna answer him something he wants to hear but isn't totally the truth. I don't want the rest of the time to be weird.
My advice: Don't play games with our minds boys. Tell us how you really feel. If you like me, but aren't ready, just let me know. It might hurt the ego a bit, but at least I'll be aware to keep my eyes open for other options and not be waiting around for a guy who just isn't that into me. Thanks. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather you be blunt and say it straight. I don't like games and I don't like guessing. Games get boring after awhile.
